Hi
I am new to this forum and need help with a 240 utility . I can not find the drain plug for the hydraulic fluid so I can renew the fluid in this old tractor . I found the tractor at a scrap yard about to be crushed and couldn't bear to see destroyed so I got it . I took parts from a Super A to get it running . Starter and carb . Now I need to renew the fluids . Oil and oil filter for the engine are done . The tranny fluid looks good . Had to find a strainer for the hydraulic fluid but can't find the drain . The owners manual shows a location on the main frame below the hydraulic unit just to the rear of the starter but does not state the left or right side . I have looked on both sides and underneath but can't spot it . I may be blind or maybe it was covered with junk and paint . Please help .
P.S. IT was a lot of trouble to get signed up for this forum . Why so hard ?

Thank you Jim . That is what I needed to know . It's a shame the owner's manual couldn't make it that clear . It probable is once you know where it is . Which manual was this info in?
Thanks
Michael
