Farmall Cub Clutch adjustment

I'm sure this question has been answered several times in the past but I need help with my clutch. Bought new clutch, pressure plate and throw
out bearing here from YT. 1948 cub, when I aduust the clutch like the manual says the carrier for the throwout hits the pressure plate bolt ends
on the adjustment fingers. When I adjust the other way the clutch want release enough to get the tractor in gear. What am I doing wrong.
Thanks for your help.

This is a very hard thing to discribe best to go to cub forum they have pictures and video of how to do it. Should be 1 1/8" from top of plate to tip of clutch finger.
I just did one and it work great. oldiron29
