My 504 gas utility has a very noticable hydraulic whine that decreases when you turn the steering or use the hydraulic.Dealer says this is normal, but it's louder than the engine when idling. What do you think, Thanks.

Hi Ray, sounds like your low on fluid or the fluid & filter needs changed. Could also be a stuck relief valve. Take a plastic screw driver handle to your ear and do some probing to make sure the noise is coming from the pump area.
