I was just wanted to clarify something. Who was the CEO of IH back in the 40's and or 50's? I was told my great Uncle held this position and wanted to clarify. Thanks for any help. Kris

A good library will have a contempory issue of "Who's Who in America" or maybe "Who's Who in American Business". The reference librarian will get you the right volume. If your great uncle held a leadership position in a major US corporation, he would be listed. You could also get his obituary in the local paper serving the town that he lived in when he died.

CEO and President are usually interchangeable terms. Chairman of the Board is usually a different position.

My uncle was Walt Schroeder. I was talking with my dad tonight and he said he believed he was the CEO of IH at one time. Maybe it was later. Maybe different Tractor Co. Just thought I would check it out. Thanks for the replys.

Doesn't that name have a link to Allis-Challmers??

Like an old friend used to say "I hear church bells, but I don't know what church".
