460 diesel engine oil problems

Well finally got around to pulling the head and found the head gasket upside down.. This caused the small oil galley to be blocked and oil couldn't get to the top. I will post some pics in a bit.....Thanks everyone for the advice

Some photos...makes a big difference when oil isn't blocked by the head gasket....smh

And NO, I did not install the head gasket in case your wondering lol. this engine had what appears to be a recent inframe before I bought just the engine. That being said they ran it a while and parked it with a stuck valve. Stands to reason while the valve stuck with no lube to the top

Also here is a picture of the head and where the oil galley hole abd the #2 head bolt line up to move the oil to the top
