I just bought a 574 int. Not sure of the year yet ans I haven't picked it up. All I know is it hasn't been started in over a year because of the owners death. His wife wanted me to buy it so we made a deal. It is a diesel and has a 2050 Int front loader. My question is what should I do before trying to start it? thanks for any help

First thing I would do is drain fuel, put new fuel filters, new fuel, check or change oil, depending how it looks, and check trans fluid before starting it. they were a great tractors, and easy to operate.

I'd check the oil and start it. Ours set from fall to spring without starting. No problems. If it has coolant in radiator would also be good.
