Hello everyone, I'm looking for some information on an international 3444, I'm not sure what year it is as tractor data.com doesn't have much info on this model, the serial number is 975 and it has a gas engine, I'm curious about plumbing in a hydraulic remote on the rear

Hi CHRanch, If you do not require loader bucket at same time as double acting cylinder then if the bucket outlets from the loader controls have quick attach hydraulic couplers then you can unhook the bucket and connect your remote cylinder to the bucket outlets. If the cylinder goes the wrong direction when you pull the bucket lever then just reverse the hydraulic hoses on the loader control valve going to the remote cylinder.

Re PS, again the PS setup depends on whether the 3444 was assembled in UK or USA, the USA assembled units will have a PS cylinder behind front axle, see caseih.com parts link:>Link
This>Link type of PS uses a flow divider to divert part of the 3pt hydraulic flow for PS, sometimes item #12 sticks in the bore and dose not divert sufficient flow to PS.

See caseih.com parts link:>Link

Can that diverter valve stick in both directions causing a lack in hydraulic pressure to the 3 pt as well cause I've been noticing my 3pt and PS are hit or miss sometimes

Hi, a 3444 is an industrial version of the agricultural 444. There are many different configurations of the 3444 so it is very difficult to give you advice without more info on your 3444.

Questions:
1) Single or double acting remote hydraulic outlet(s)? Single only has 1 hydraulic hose and only lift capacity and gravity pushes the cylinder down OR double acting, 2 hoses and up and down pressure.
2) Does tractor have a 3pt hitch? Will you require 3 pt hitch and remote hydraulic outlet to operate at the same time.
3) Does tractor have a loader with loader control valves and a separate front mounted hydraulic pump? Do you require loader bucket and remote hydraulic outlet to operate at the same time?

Answer to these questions will give you the options.

I would want a double acting remote.

Yes it has a 3 point, no I wouldn't necessarily have to have the 3pt and remote work at the same time.

And yes it does have a loader, and yes it had a front mounted pump, and same as 3 pt no I would not need loader and outlet to work at the same time.

And I am having a few issues with the power steering, I looked on the book as to what pump supplies steering hydraulics, its works good sometimes but sometimes gets hard to turn, it does have some leaks so I donno if I'm getting air in system maybe but I am going to have the steering cylinder seals done and probably some new fittings and hoses.
