110 international sickle mower

Hello everyone. I am getting a 2404 international than has a 110 belly sickle mower. The bar and head are missing. Are parts available and will the parts from other mowers work?

Any of the balance head and bar units should bolt right on what you have. Have both side mounted and rear mount and they look the same.
 
You might contact Rouse Rakes in Burwell, Ne since they repair and make all the balance heads for this type of mowers. They should be able to tell you what will fit it and are generally very reasonable for parts for these mowers. Their parts have lots of extra accessories to make the mower better, like adjustable hold downs you can adjust periodically for wear. The phone number is 800-445-9202.
 
Probably early 60s we had a new mower like that on a Farmall M with a new conditioner on the back. That was about the ultimate mowing machine.
 
115 is also a belly mount, I have one on the SMTA. 120 is semi mounted but has the head and bar. Also just look for any IH mower listed as a 100 mower. I have all of these mowers here.

Thanks for all the great responses everyone. I will look for a 100 series parts mower. Look forward to mowing without looking back. I tried to get someone to buy this tractor about six months ago. No takers. It just was too nice of a low hour tractor to pass up. Hope I didn't make a mistake as this is kinda a specialized machine. No three point unless it could be added. It does have a drawbar. Jason
