Put a new water jacket cover on and gasket along with a little gaskets sealant. Antifreeze is seeping out all around the bolt hole and the outside cover. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it to stop leaking. Should I put sealant on the bolts ? Thanks Dan

Tell you what I did, and it may or may not work for anybody else. And it may not work for me tomorrow, I don't know. But I was painting my H, and I had sanded everythng, and scraped, and wire-brushed. And the water jacket began to leak. I was afraid of doing anything, I figured the bolts would snap off, and I'd be stuck. I just painted over it, with CaseIH spray paint. Sprayed on a few good heavy coats. The leaks have stopped as of today, and it's been a few years. I guess it seeped in.

Get some Mendite from Car Quest and dump in it when it is warmed up and then run it for a while so that it circultes good. It is liquid and will not plug cores.

Mendite is good stuff. If that doesn't stop a leak, nothing will.

The bolts go into the water jacket and need sealed, the new covers are REAL thin, I ended up sealing mine wth RTV.

The bolts need to be sealed and teflon tape or pipe sealant will work. Jim

Product Review - by Staff. When we finally checked out the 3000 PSI North Star, the whole story chaned. This unit was equipped with an 11 HP Honda engine with fuel shutoff, adjustable flow and optional syphon degreaser dispenser. It didn't have a pressure release or electric start to facilitate easy starting but according to the instructions, simply pulling on the trigger while cranking was sufficient. This method of starting proved more than adequate and kept the cost down on the unit. It had all the important
