Correct me if I am wrong, but is that a '39? doesn't the seat identify it as such?

The ad says she's a running tractor. She stands tall as witness to the durability of the H.
A diamond in the rough, I say. If I were in California I'd probably find myself making an
offer, after the auction is over of course. I'd have to unload and dismantle the same day so the wife wouldn't notice for at least a year. Right now I'm just counting my blessings I live in NY.

Yeah, she looks a little scruffy! Are those front wheels the correct ones for that tractor? Look to me like a couple of automobile wheels.

Wow!! Man!! I paid less than that for my Super H that "needed work" and looks 3 times as good and runs great (now). And I thought I paid too much...Frankly, I hope he gets what he is asking...it should drive up the prices on the rest of our machines, but I pity the fool who buys it...BB

That " thing" has been on Ebay several times..no takers. Being in California is not exactly a plus either.

In the San Joaquin valley of Farmall infested California, the "H" is worth about $300 to $400 if the WFE is complete and not welded. But I am located in farm country with a vast suppy of non-loggable timber standing 60 miles to the east of us in the Sierra Navada mountains (thanks to our ex-prez Clinton who now lives in New York, 3000 miles from California).

On the other hand, if you bought one of those PTO driven generators and mounted it, He might get $10,000 for it!!!

Saw one with wide front in similar condition, but not running, go for $875 at auction in Mead, Colorado, a week ago. Kind of hard to believe, huh.

I wish the gent well on his sale. One like that in Central Indiana would go for considerably less.

It can't be all that bad. He has a soup can on the exhaust. Someone might buy it for the wide front.

Take another look. I think that is a small muffler on top of the stack!

T-Bone, you may be right. I don't think I want it now. But then, where are you going to find another set of 100" axels. On top of that you could drive it away without getting your seat wet.

third party image

$1000 for that. I'll let mine go for $2000 then, runs under half throttle, needs some work with loader rear tires at 85% 11/38 12 volt with different mag in the mail.

If I came home with a tractor like that and told wife that I payed money{without saying how much} for it she would ship me to the funny farm with a one way ticket!! But than again look what you get--at least one wheel weight, a wide front end, and a can of soup, don't know what brand, and just--maybe the motor runs.. One good thing is --if you hit a tree with it no one will know the difference, so will save a lot of razing..
