1. How do I free up the hydraulic track adjusters on my 1965 HD7G Allis.
It sat for too long in a field, and they won't move with the grease gun.

2. I don't have 1st gear in forward, it has 1st in reverse, is this because the fluid is low in the torque convertor? (If I move past 1st and then come back to it, it seems like I'm still in 2nd gear, so I don't believe it is the linkage adjustment.)
Thanks
Brian

HD7G ALLIS If your front idler is at end trackframe your chaine track must be full extentioned and for the transmission she must be missing oil (SEA 10W) and maybe the oil filter and streaner are not very good if the machine was stop for long time.

The part drawing shows that it is fairly long, it does not seem that it should be fully extended (looking on the part drawing). That is why I think it is seized. How much would be showing if it was at the end of the frame?
Thanks for the help.
Brian

HD7G Allis you should see a the end track frame 5 to 6 inchs when the chain are in good condition
but if your chaine are freeze it not easy to greace and maybe with the backet you could try to move the machine it could help if she was stop ther for manny years

It looks to me like I have 4 inches of travel left to the end.
I can't seem to get it to move at all.
If I am correct, the left grease nipple move the adjuster?

HD7G Allis yes the left grease nipple move the adjustement and right is for grease the shaft and if I was you I will remove the left nipple and try to push back the yoke and if the grease going hout and track came more loose the cylinder is not jam after yuo could remobed the 2 bolts each side the idler gide plate and with a pitch bar try to move the idler if he is not freeze on frame.
