In need of an AC H3 crawler hydraulic pump???

Guys I am in need of a hydraulic pump for an Allis H3 gas 61/62 vintage. It is the single stage 15gpm pump with a serial tag starting with J2 i believe. Let me know if you have something.
 
Isn't it just a standard generic Cessna gear pump? That's why my Allis HD4 has. You can buy brand new for around $200. Can't say I know for sure what the H3 or HD3 uses.

I don't buy Cessna anymore. Since Eaton took over, prices are nuts. You can buy a direct-fit Webster with a better cast-iron center-housing for $200-$240.

You need to know the mount type, shaft size and type, and which way it turns. Usually a SAE B 2 bolt mount, and 3/4 or 7/8" shaft.

Pump size is also a factor. 15 GPM has no meaning unless given at a certain RPM. If you double pump speed, you double output.

Dozers usually have pumps that are around 1.7 cubic inches per revolution. Loaders tend to have 2.4 to 3 c.i. per rev.

1.5 c.i. per rev = 11 GPM at 1900 RPM
18 GPM at 3000 RPM

1.78 c.i. per rev = 13 GPM at 1900 RPM
21 GPM at 3000 RPM

2.05 c.i. per rev = 14.4 GPM at 1800 RPM
22.5 GPM at 2750 RPM

2.61 c.i. per rev = 18.3 GPM at 1800 RPM
26 GPM at 2500 RPM
 
No, I think they are different, the pump mounts down on the side of the reverser case from what I remember. Been too many years since I worked on ours, but I remember it being dorky. Why they did not mount a live pump on the front of the engine I will never understand.

Correct the pump mounts down on the side of the torque tube. There are no other casting numbers or anything on the pump other than the AC serial number.
 
Sounds quite different then my HD4. Regardless of where it is mounted, the pump will still have a certain mount-type, a certain rotation preference, a certain displacement per revolution, and a certain shaft-type. What are they? I doubt AC made the pump.
