I found a T5 International dozer for sale.
It is a 4 cylinder gas with 5 speed tranny.
The serial # is 4497 A
1 Can anybody tell me what year itis?
2 How much does this weigh?

With that serial# the machine is a "B" series built 1963 or later. The "B" series was an improved version of the original models built since 1959.Actually production of these models ended at the end of 1964, so the machine is 63 or 64. The A designates it has a 5 roller track frame.
It weighs around 6000 lbs depending on if its a bare tractor or has attachments.
Engine is a C-135.

TD-5
The tractor has a hydraulic lift blade and winch.
It does seem to be in very good shape except for the rust (it has been sitting for a few years)
The undercarraige is in the best shape of any machines I've found so far.
He is asking $7000.00 CDN.

Brian, as the proud owner of a TD5 I'd say he's at the high end on price. See if he won't come down to the 5000 range then you'll be in the ballpark. Good luck........
