Well the saga of the case 310g continues. Was unloading it off the trailer today to start working on and noticed something wet coming out the exahust. Engine was running fine and had plenty of goose. It wasn't spraying out. Juts noticed the pipe was wet and ozzing out. Is this maybe a stuck exahust valve ?? Or another issue ??

Most of those old diesels will do that if there worked hard. Just work it really hard it will usually clear up real soon.

broke rings or blown head gasket....not enough compression to ignite. How was it running? I blew a head gasket on a IH 560 once ethering the thing to get it started, rained diesel like a typhoon till shut down.

It was running great! didn't notice any problem at all ?? just noticed the pipe on 1 side wet and ozzing after running a good 1/2 hour. Wasnt raining at all, more of a ozzing. did notice a bit of oil leak on the block. but thought it was from the valve cover possible leaking since it was comming from that area . But engine seemed to be running fine ??

could be an injector lettin a lil too much fuel in or maybe a loose valve guide lettin extra oil in.

I agree with Phil. I was running mine at just off idle for about 40 minutes to do some sensitive rock wall stacking with the hoe and I became alarmed when my exhaust was "dripping". Folks on this site said it was normal 'slobbering' when not worked hard enough. During subsequent hard running it was fine and cleared up.
