Huber Maintainer

I've always wanted a Huber, and finally found one, cheap. It's been sitting for years, not sure how many. The radiator was drained and the oil looks good, like no water got into the crankcase. It won't turn over with the starter, I just tried to dump it a few times. It's got a Hercules 6cyl. flathead motor. I dumped some Marvel Mystery oil in the cylinders to see if that does anything. Any other ideas on what to dump in the cylinders to free it up?

well it didnt get stuck overnite...seems reasonable that it wont free up overnite no matter what witches brew you dump in.
only quick way i know of is pull head and pan, then pistons/rods to see what you got.

I'd try the trick that "Old" uses, put ATF in each syl. and let it sit for a week or so. Ya got nothing to lose........Jim in N M

I got it running today, runs like a swiss watch. It had a stuck valve, took an hour to free it. It smoked at first, but after 15 min. it cleared up and runs real nice. I have to replace a couple hydraulic lines
. It's 6 volt, and started on a 6 volt battery. Not bad for sitting 30 years.
