Sometimes it will run for 5 minutes sometimes for an hour. Then it will not start or will only just catch for a few seconds. Most of the time it runs arounds 5 minutes or less. I thought it was air in the fuel system. I have replaced all of the filters cleaned out the tank and I had good flow to the filters. I have bleed it multiple times and this doesn't seem to help. Does the priming pump go bad and possibly cause air leaks?
I have tried everything else I could think of. When it runs I have no problems at all with any of the systems.
Thanks

you got any rubber lines feeding the pumps?? i've seen rubber lines break internally and close just like a check valve when suction is put to it.

Not familiar with an E series, but if they still run the old style injection pumps, likely you've got head pressure on the return side of the fuel system, if the pump has a timing window down on the side with 2 screws take it off and see if you have black bits of rubber like material built up in there. If so this material clogs the check ball in the return fitting in top of pump and shuts the engine down.

Your machine will have a CAV rotary pump and it does not suffer the same problems as the Roosa Master with the governor ring breaking up,the most likely thing that is causing the problem that you have is a faulty lift pump, those pumps are sealed and you cannot open them,to test it remove both fuel lines from it,hold the nipples coming off the pump body while undoing the pipes so they do not turn, with the pipes off get a length of soft hose, hold one end against the outlet, put the other end in your mouth and blow,if you can blow back through the pump it is leaking back and all it is doing when the engine is running is pushing the fuel back and forth,if that is happing try blowing through the pump by putting the hose to the inlet, you should be able to blow through easily, check it for leak back again,if you still can blow through get a new pump,if you can't blow back you have dislodged whatever was holding the valve open, connect up the pipe from the tank, operate the priming lever a few times when the fuel is air free put your finger over the outlet and see what pressure you have, put on the pipe, bleed and start.
Good luck

Thank you so much! That was exactly what the problem was. I did try and blow through it on the outlet and I was able to easily push air through. I ended up just replacing it and used around the house for a few hours yesterday. Thanks again I was really starting to pull my hair out with this one.
