IH 340U backhoe - help identify

All,

I have the 340U backhoe pictured...currently undergoing rebuild of the C135 engine (spun rod bearing) and the front steering (loose and broken).

However, I see several manuals on 340U backhoes, one is a IH Model 3082 and another suggests Pippin was involved.

Anybody know with authority? I will buy the appropriate manuals but don't want to take pot shots in the dark to do so.

Thanks for any help!
