I have a 350 dozer that I got hung up in two gears and ended up chipping a tooth on a gear, what is the best way to go about getting into the trans to change the bad gear and where is the best place to get parts for it,I thought about trying to sell it like it is and if it don't sell I will fix it and keep it,what would be a fair price to ask for it the way it is,it is diesel, reverser works good,uc about 60-70%,3 point hitch with 1 set of remotes,6 way blade, any help will be appreciated ,thanks 865-661-5405

Check if the local JD industrial dealer is part of the used parts network. There should be lots of used parts available and maybe aftermarket. A few people on this forum can probably help you as well. Dave

same thing happened to my 350 which had no reverser. Not too hard to fix. In mine the pins in the shaft fell out from age & wear. That let the shaft & gears slide so that 2 gears engaged at once, breaking off some tooth pieces.Pull the shaft & gears out & have shop put in new pins & weld them so they stay. Parts manual is a big plus on this job.

I have parts for that machine New or Used. Some of the gears are so cheap New i don"t even look for used. Email for contact info.

I bot a similar unit with tranny problems and less undercarriage and no 3-pt but with winch for $2400. You'd be better off fixing it if you have the time.

thanks for the help,I am about 20 miles south of knoxville ,tn,Ed ,could I get your number or get you to call me, thanks 865-661-5405
