t340 crawler hydraulics

What's the underlying problem? Do you have a good filter in the filter compartment and is the gasket good that seals the cover of that compartment? Those are the issues that cause the most hydraulic problems on this machine, in my experience.

small leak on pump side, brand new filter,
i just replaced steering brakes

Can,t think of any reason you would need to blee the Hydraulics. Just start the tractor unless you are talking about priming the pump and that usually is not needed. What is your problem with the moving of the tractor or the moving of the blade. Two difrent systems but neither require bleeding as you call it. They MIGHT require priming but never an issue that I know of. Worked on ih for over 30 years, really don,t understand you question I guess.

The filter compartment is under suction when the pump is running, so if the gasket isn't tight, then you will suck air and/or lose suction. A new cover gasket usually comes with the filter. It's easy to strip the bolt holes. If some have been stripped, maybe it's not tight. That's the first thing I would check. But please clarify the symptoms that show there is a problem.

thanks for the help guys, turns out that the
pump is trashed,so if anyone knows where to
get a replacement pump,i would appreciate
