How do I adjust the tracks on my JD 450? Do I just grease them through the fittings?

There is a grease fitting on the cast part of the track adjuster next to a square headed bolt with jam nut..Shoot some grease into the grease fitting to extend the track adjuster..If it's too tight loosen the square headed bolt to release some grease..If it's oem there will also be a grease fitting near the end of the cylinder casting to lube the barrel to rod..Early units didn't have this fitting..If it won't move , have someone put pressure on the front fitting with a grease gun and give the cylinder barrel a couple of shots with a large hammer...
