Source for needle bearing cups.

Hello. I have an old Agricat mini dozer. I tore into the gearbox today to see what kind of shape it's in. Surprisingly the gears aren't bad. My problem is with some of the bearing cups the shafts sit in. Most of them are shot. Any ideas on where I can obtain replacements. They're small items, maybe 5/8ths or 3/4 inch diameter. Any help appreciated.

Look at the cups for a number or take them to a bearing shop and they will measure them up for you, replace the whole bearing.

Are they all a ''cup'' style with one side closed?

Most any nearby bearing supply Co. should be able to get them for you.

If you look CLOSELY, many will have a tiny part number stamped on them.

If you find a number on them an internet search would be easy!

Or, scroll on down to Page 75 at the .pdf linked above and you can see what's available from one company, by dimensions.

Yes, I have noticed numbers on the edge of some of the bearings. Next time I have time to work on the gearbox, I'll try to get the numbers I need. Some of them are the closed end variety, and two for the main shaft are open ended.
