1974 TD7E Dresser

New Dresser owner here. Bought a clean little TD7E, right track was slow to engage on right turn. Iv read enough to find the adjuster on the outside, Iv taken it in about a full turn, still has a couple threads left showing. Taking it in worked and the right side grabs now and feels ok, the left side does seem to grab harder and quicker when pulling on the stick to that side, it s almost a jerk, should I back the left side off to match the right, Iv have also noticed it tracks to the left slightly, I was thinking someone might have cranked the left side in to far and could be causing it to track left. I ll clean mud out of the way and inspect to see if both sides are close to the same. With all this said I m searching for the correct procedure to adjust. I have read to take it all the way in till it s firm and back out a half turn, and I ve heard full turn for extra clearance. Any advice would be helpful.
