HI JIM, I got the filter oil, off and found the serial number, behind it, 4 and then 689,
trying to find a manual, but the case D450, there's lots on the 450 and 450b, 450c how much different is there, between the 450 and the d450, 450c

You had the serial number previously, 3051781. That is a 1973 Diesel 450 serial number (I believe the D prefix designates diesel engine vs gasoline). I don't know what the numbers you found behind the oil filter are but expect they are just casting numbers.

You need manuals for a straight 450, no suffix letters like B, C, etc. which are later series of the model 450 crawler than your 450.

This site sells reprint 450 manuals. You can find them on eBay (used OEM, reprints, and electronic). A search for Case 450 manuals will get you many options of vendors. Here is link to the site where you can find official Case manuals:
