I am finally getting around to working on my TD304 dozer. I think it is in the 1960's model. I have drained the oil from pretty much everything that holds oil. My question is; what weight oil are you folks using? I am located in the Eastern Panhandle of WV, i.e. Martinsburg area. So we do get winter just not as bad as most.
I found all the filters for old girl on Amazon.

Not totally up on the 340 crawler tractor other then it is pretty much a 340 wheel tractor on tracks I would say that it uses Hy Tran in the transmission and rear end and for and oil any 15 w 40 series 3 will work but back in the day it would be the #1 I H diesel engine oil in 30 W like we still use in all our I H diesels . Not sayen it the best but that is what we use .

You can also get all the filters at NAPA. If your hydraulic filters are the old round ones that go
in the metal case, you might want to upgrade to the one piece unit. You can also get Hy-Tran at NAPA
and many other places.
