Cat D3 clutch assembly adjustment

I have a d3 dozer not sure if the year.
I had to replace the clutches in the left side.
I pulled the clutch out and had a freind replace the clutches and plates (he had a press, to press the springs)
Once I got it back and tried to install the unit in the dozer, the arm to far away from the slave cylinder. The arm is actually touching the wall.
Is there a way to adjust this arm back in place???

Did you make sure that the ball on the yoke went in to its socket in the casing when you put the clutch assembly back in, it has to be in for the clutch to work, the slave cylinder has a spring to push out it's piston and pushrod, it's self adjusting, if the piston is out fully and the pushrod is not pushing the yoke obviously something is wrong, check and see the yoke is in it's socket.

Yes. Yoke is in the socket. I tried to post pictures but they
didnt post. Ive had it in and out 5-6 times studying it. I cant
figure it out. Only thing left is if its is adjustable.

I thought I had seen your post before, you had this problem back in May, I don't know what to say, could the yoke be mounted wrong way round, is the throw out bearing good, is the bearing cone in the socket, could the yoke have got bent, I just dont know what could be wrong, all I can say is get a cat mechanic to have a look at it.

PS we put a bit of grease in the socket on assembly.

Yea I posted a few months ago. No real results last time either.
I guess Im going to take it to a local guy that has a shop. Just
have to wait until harvest season is over so he will not be to
busy for my questions. Thanks for your reply.
