Well my old worn out 1976 JD310A hydraulic pump has failed............ The rest of the machine is tired, buckets done, lots of cylinders weeping, steering held together with a bandaid, cosmetically trashed, very little electrical works etc. But engine and transmission are solid. . Have a chance to pick up a 1975 (we think) JD310 with a bad transmission, broken gears, hole in housing.
Does anybody know for sure if I can fit my 76 JD310A transmission will bolt up in the 1975 JD310 Hoping so as I would rather spend twice the money and upgrade the machine rather than just buy a pump which by the time I get it here in Canada will run me around $2000 And yes I know how much work the swap is, did the wet and dry clutches in mine 2 years ago.
