how do you adjust the engine clutch this is a direct drive tractor 44a c series, not a powershift

Remove the floor plate, clean around the inspection plate on the clutch housing and remove it, there are two lock plates 180 degrees apart on the adjusting ring, slacken off the nuts, screw the ring in to tighten clutch, out to loosen it, ideally you should have a mechanic do it for you and show you how to do it.
