Have a friend who heard some guys talking about a 941 Cat track loader needing biscuits. What in laymen's terms is biscuits in the world of track loaders? TIA.

I have heard the rubber pucks that connect the drive and driven plates at the flywheel, (main drive plates) called biscuits. Its a form of cushion and flex.

Cash 4 is right round rubber cushions used in the drive line right under your feet when setting on the loader , 4 I think.

Those flexible couplings can fail with age but the usual reason for them failing is the engine is out of alignment with the torque converter, the run out has to be checked and set with the couplings out, there are shims that go under the engine mountings that are often left out because the importance of the aglignment is not known about
