Allis HD21-B

I have a chance to own one of these for what it weighs, as is where is. Been sitting inside and ran and functioned correctly when parked. Background and hours of unit unknown.
I know absolutely nothing about these other than some generic undercarriage basics. If I get it home, how do I tell if its a good one or mobile wreck? Any known points of failure to check?
Have a few jobs for it, but would just sell it while it moves if it looks like it will stop soon.
I do understand that its a time-bomb at best and likely very little parts available.

The only way you are going to know what its like is get it started up and put it through it's paces, one cannot tell if clutches or the like are stuck just by looking at it, check the oils and the coolant in case it's been drained before start up, there were a great machine back in the day.

I would say this if you as you say pay what it weighs and then pay someone to load and move a dead tractor you are going to have all it is worth by the time you get it going. Big old beast that actually were pretty good dozers but going to be hard to find lots of parts now day. Good luck and post some photos.
