ALLISON TT2221-1 Remote Filter Element Number

Well i messed up. The problem is, the part number plate was missing from the bottom of the transmission so I was going by a picture of the trans and thought that it was a TT2421-1. I found a scribbled note in the back of the parts manual that came with the Dynahoe and in reality it is a TT-2221-1 Transmission. I don't know if this changes anything but all I know now, after looking at the trans cartridge, a 4 inch diameter filter will not fit in this canister.
More like around a 3.50 inch might fit. I don't know what Dynahoe used for filters back then as the only numbers that I have from the parts book are: 91107920 for the element and 68109710 for the "O" ring. I have had no luck with the Dynahoe group coming back with anything even though there are a few 490 owners in there and Joseph equipment doesn't have any cross reference info any longer. So I'm between a rock and a hard spot again with this filter. So, I don't know if there is a different filter size used between these two transmissions or not, I doubt it but at this point all I know is that the 4" filter will not fit.
Again, any help or insight would be truly appreciated short of pulling it apart to get a number. This would be the absolute last resort. Thanks, Dave

Did you look at the second filter number I posted, after you posted this same thing on your other post?

Jim, I just can't seem to find your reply. Not doubting that you sent it, I just can't get to it for some reason. Can you send it to me again. The first number was for the strainer that goes in the bottom of the trans sump. I'm hoping that the second number is for the element that goes into the remote canister. This wouldn't be an Allison number as far as I can tell and asking the Allison dealer near me. They dumped the TT line back in the 90's and every reference is long gone including trans parts. Lots of parts that rebuilders have and can get but they do not deal in filters only the trans stuff.

It's at the end of your other post after you said the 51136 appeared too large.
