Ford 555 P/S Pump Question

I removed the power steering pump off my Ford 555 backhoe, it was time for a rebuild so i picked up a kit from the NH dealer and had a mechanic
rebuild it, for the first month everything was good but now it is leaking again, can't really tell where, gotta clean it up and see where the leak is.
Another thing i have noticed is, a buzzing sound coming from the power steering pump, its not very loud but i haven't noticed it before. Anyone ever
heard one buzz?? Something wrong?

You would need to find where it is leaking from, there the high pressure elbow that has a Duro seal that can leak, the o'ring on the reservoir cover, the return line on the back of the reservoir often gets cracked when two wrenches are not used to undo/tighten the line, those pumps are better known for leaking internally into the engine oil than external, the buzzing sound is usually a sign the filter is restricted.

The only thing i can see is the oil dripping off the metal bowl, everything in the pump is new, i put a new NH filter on during the rebuild. When i
put the pump back on everything was good, no buzzing or leaking, ran it a few hours and now this. This pump has been a bear since i've had the
backhoe, almost to the point of replacing the pump with another one!

What can be misleading to me is the pump is rebuilt and it is not working like it should, is the steering working properly, ie steering easy with a full bucket, check the fluid to see if it is foaming, if the pump was rebuilt then all the seals inside it should have been replaced especially the ones on the relief valve, if the filter is new it can be taken out of the equation, am I to take it the pump is worse after the rebuild?, is the pump making a noise when the steering is not been used, cast your eye over the lines to see none are kinked or squashed impeding fluid flow.

The steering is like normal, no issues with that. The pump does about the same before the rebuild, it worked good before just had to add fluid every
time you used it and that got old quick. It steers ok with a full bucket, i'll have to see about the foaming, didn't think to check for that. The
rebuild should be right, we had no leftover parts in the kit.

It very hard to imagine what can be wrong with everything supposed to be right, the fluid can make a noise if it is escaping under pressure should the pump be worn, for now I would find and repair the leak and work the machine ignoring the buzzing. nothing much else you can do.
