CAT D7 17A Injector Removal

I have a 1956 CAT D7 17A with a stuck engine. Id like to remove the injectors so that I can pour lubricant into the cylinders and let it sit for a few days before trying to crank the motor over. Is it straight forward removing and reinstalling the injectors? Are there copper washers that have to be seated?

Thanks!

You just need to removed the fuel lines and the nut and body nozel and no seal washer but if you removed the chamber you have a
brass washer for sealing

Just removed injectors from an HD3 Allis a couple of months ago. It was a 1965 vintage and the injectors required a little work as they tended to be corroded in place. You may want a
service manual for specs on torquing them down when returning to the bore. I also applied anti seise lubricant if ever I had to remove them again! Good luck!

Thank you Hector, Mr. T.

I was finally successful in removing the injectors. I was able to loosen them but actually pulling them out was a problem. Two of them eventually came out with continued wiggling and lubricating with PB Blast. The last two were stubborn despite continued wiggling and lubrication. I let them sit overnight before trying to remove them again but to no avail! I decided to thread the fuel line nuts back on to the injector body. Grabbing on to the nut and fuel line with my hand and pulling upwards I was able to pop them out. Ive since poured lubricant in to the cylinders and hope to try manually turning over the engine later today.
