Komatsu PC150-5 main hydraulic pump problem

The hydraulic pump on my komatsu PC150-5 excavator was weak, so I had it rebuilt. When I put it back on, it won't activate. It was working weakly when I first took it off. Has anyone else had this problem? Troubleshooting says charging pump, but it was working fine before I had the pump rebuilt. Any ideas?

Had you the pressure and flow checked before you removed the pump, was there any tell tale signs in the oil or filters the tank or suction strainer of metal or filings, when I fit a hydraulic pump and have everything connected up and the tank filled, pump bled start the engine and let it run on low idle for a few minutes and then test it, you having nothing at all would suggest the pump has an issue, get the guy that rebuilt it to have a look at it for you.

There were no issues with filters, etc. and I had a professional inspect and he said it was the pump, so I had the pump rebuilt, but when it was returned the first time, it would not work at all. I sent the pump back to shop, and they found a problem and fixed it again.

We put it back on and now the swing is very slow, when traveling it deviates to the left. The left track motor is very slow and all work equipment is very slow. But the travel and the swing is the slowest. The only way I can pick up any speed is to engage another lever. The issue is, it was never doing this before the pump was "fixed."

I don't know whether to have someone else check out the pump again, or to switch off and start looking at something else. It's strange that I had none of these issues before the pump was "fixed."

I am very suspicious of the pump rebuilder, they did not fix it right the first time so there is no reason to think they done any better the second time, a competent rebuilder gets it right first time, the pressure regulating valve may be leaking pressure, look it it and see its not open or the o'rings on the body blown, there is not much help I can give you because its hard to know what's been done, having worse problems now that you had before the pump is still suspect.

my mechnic said there is an electric solim
noid on the bottom of the control valves
my 150 just started acting up no power to boom down & curl bucket

My advice to you is get a competent Komatsu engineer to look at your machine before you go changing out pumps or the like, a competent engineer will pin point the trouble and and fix it for you, there are many solenoid valves on all moderen excavators going back the last 40 years, the secret is knowing what they are for and how to test them.
