Bringing a TD14A back to life

Got a TD14A with some property I bought. Turns over, but no spark on the gas side. New coil, still no spark. Points look good, but it looks as if someone messed with the wiring. Can someone help me get this old girl running?? Take a look at the pictures and let me know if something's not right. The only manual I have just covers the magneto equipped tractors. Thanks!

Well first of all u need to tell us if there is spark at the points with the switch on Or have u even checked to see that the coil had power going to it ? Dont need to replace parts for just because.

also that distributor has been added on, it should have a mag. that wiring job is amess so need to start diagnosing for spark.

Yup, that coil means they bypassed the mag IIRC. You'll need to figure out which way you want to go- mag or coil ignition.

Do it simple for the time to get it going at the coil REMOVE the wire that is feeding it. Take a jumper and go from the positive of the battery to that coil terminal. Hold a spark wire terminal close to a clean spot on the engine you should see spark. If not go and check the points. You can figure out all that other wiring latter. Actually looks like they have added an alternator. IF you get it running the first thing you do is check the radiator coolant level. Cracked heads are what that dozer is know for.
