Looking at a little hough payloader-- it's been converted to run on propane. Might be an HA or h25. Are these fairly useful little
machines?
 
They will do what they were designed for and the performance all depends on what it is been used for, like all two wheel drive you will get a fair amount of wheel spin, they were as good as anything else back in their day and were reliable enough.

Yes, theyll beat a shovel and wheelbarrow, but they get stuck easily when loaded and can be tough to steer when maneuvering in tight spaces with a full bucket.

Theyre probably the reason they invented skid steers!
 
I love that line it beats a wheelbarrow, it reminds me of a joke I heard of this guy working on a job site moving some dirt with a wheelbarrow, each time he went to dump the barrow he pulled it behind him and done the same thing coming back, he was noticed by the foreman who asked him why he always pulled the barrow instead of pushing it and he replied that's simple I hate the site of it.
