Forum,
Thanks for advice on advancing timing on the HD3 Allis.
Attempted to start the engine but to no avail. Figured out the priming pump is functioning. It seems as someone mentioned a clogged fuel line. I believe there is/was "stuff" in the tank having a hard time making its way through the fuel line built into the bottom of the tank. Poor design could have been a raised filter in the tank! Next I removed the very snug cast steel injectors. Last option for removal was to remove the studs and give a light tap on each ear and proceed to pry. Always applied Power Blaster as I worked. One of the injectors seemed to be partially functioning. Injectors are now at the diesel shop in St. Cloud for cleaning. Price varied from $30 to 90 per injector depending on parts needed. Nozzles were expensive. Any and all thoughts are welcome.
