Loader hydraulics hitting tie rods?

Hi everyone. I posted this in the 8n forum too. I've been working on getting an old skyline loader up and running on an 8n. I had my first test run today and everything seemed to be working, but I found that the main hydraulics hit the tie rods on both sides of the tractor. When going over uneven terrain or just steering hard to the left or right this would probably flex the tie rods quite a bit. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help! I have no knowledge of the tractor and your pictures were taken like you don't want us to see them(Lol) but what I can make out from them is the axle is set too wide, I think you are going to take it in a hole each side for it to clear the loader.

As already said you need to put front wheels narrow but I can't make out fro photo is loader bracket going to rear axle??

Thanks for the input! The main lower frame rails for the loader attach under the rear fenders to the rear axle.

When turned, the tierods will be even more in contact. I would explore moving the frame of the loader rearward, raising the rear pivot point for the cylinders, and putting the axle inwards. Scooping material lower than the flat is desirable. Jim

I would be interested to know if the loader is purpose built for the 8N or is it off something else that the mounting is different and needs modifying, when you did not say that it's for something else I took it for granted that it was the correct loader for the tractor and therefore it should fit straight on.

I would for get about a loader on an N series ford. The front ends are not heavy enough and you can't steer them with any weight in the bucket. The tierods will be the least of your worries. Tractor is so light all you will be able to lift will be a bucket of feathers with it. You will need to move cylinder end back at the top. raise loader up or move it back,which I doubt any of those are real practical to do. Or as said move axle in some if you can.
