Case IH model 3514 fuel leak.

I have a 3514 tractor with backhoe. It's been a good solid workhorse for years but has developed a fuel leak. It drips from the left side, beneath the frame, looks like it may be coming from the side of the tank. It drips more when I fill the tank with more than a few gallons of diesel. I'm having an impossible time getting the white hood to open so I can get a better look at the tank. Anyone know how to get this open without destroying it by prying it off! I'm wondering if there is release that is missing or I just can't find it. Thanks for reading.

Not familiar with that model. I looks to me like it might come off with the yellow lower portion as you unbolt it.
