Mystery Foot lever on 1150b

As the title states i have have a foot lever on my 1150b, that i have no idea what it is for. The lever sits
just above the floor, below the seat, just to the left of the control tower. When i first saw it when i bought
the dozer a couple years ago, i pushed it, nothing happened, i assumed it was a seat adjuster that didnt work.
Well yesterday i had the seat cushion out, and it looks like it connects to something hydraulic. Can someone
please tell me what this mystery lever is.

Sounds like the Hi/Lo range lever, at least it's in the same area.
You familiar with the Range lever?

When in Low the High/Low levers on the tower are
1st= (low)
and 3rd=(high)

When the range lever is in High, the tower levers chage to

2nd= low
4th= high

the tower has 5 levers 1 for high/low, 2 are for forward and reverse (Each track), and 2 are for high low,
seperate track speed for turning. This particular foot lever comes out of the wall the seat sits on, to the
left of the control tower just above the floor, it only has a downward motion for it and i assume it has a
spring return.

i hope this picture helps if it uploads

I'm familiar with the case controls as I have a 600,850,1000D,
And forgot they moved the range lever to the tower from the floor on the 1150B model.

I'm pretty sure the lever in your picture is the Hyd. diverter valve.

You either have a Aux. Hyd. circuit some ware or it prioritizes oil flow to one of the circuits, possibly a Ripper attachment,
That may have been removed if not there now.

I do have a ripper but not sure why it would need a priority oil flow for it, and as far as i know i dont have
any auxilary lines anywhere unless someone tucked them somewhere out of sight. i havent had to do much to this
dozer in the 2 years ive owned it, except simple line replacements on the blade and a 1 cylinder rebuild. now
is that possible diverter/prioritizer is that gonna be set for 1 particular item like front blade or the
ripper or does it priortize fluid to any item you are using at the moment?

Usually prioritizes one function, but depends on how it was plumbed.
Also you could have just the valve minus the output plumbing which
Could be added by the Attachment Manf.

I'm just going from memory here, as non of my Case machines have it.
Back in the 60's I had a 600 loader that had one, but don't remember what for.

Is there no mention of this in your manuals?
Operators?

What blade do you have on it? If it's a six way step on the pedal and hold it down.Move the blade control lever sideways and see what' happens. It is usually for a blade function..
