As titled, looking for a Track carrier roller bracket for a Cat D4, serial #78A61** era, have the roller and bracket but the mount was broke from abuse of boyfriend of caretaker of FIL, Fil has since passed and Wife inherited it with property, Got it running like atop and most things adjusted properly except, any help on locating one would be grateful.

Off road equipment is a great place to start they sell NOS, aftermarket and some used cat parts 1-888-299-9702 give them a call tell them your serial
number and what part you need. Crowe equipment in Jasonville IN has bought some of the older cat wrecking yards out of IL plus had their own yard
for years, sorry I do not have a number right now for them but should be on the net. If you can find the part number machinery trader has a parts search
also.
 
If you're talking about the two eared piece that slides over the shaft and bolts to the roller frame, just weld it up and bolt it on.
 


No talking the bracket that holds the top carrier roller underside of track as it comes to the top Part # 1M9476/ new # Aftermarket 9v4393 the 4 bolt mounting flange behind the tension spring for track, was tore from base of bracket and twisted up bad tried to weld it after getting it as straightened out as possible but bracket had a big dent in it and dont line up it is bad, guessing he had rock come up and did not bother to remove it

For a top roller we ran both a D-4 and a NO. traxcavator for decades with just the one top roller nearest the sprocket. on one and the other was nearest the front idler. NO.6 was the same as a D-6.
 
Cool thank you for any info you can give, but it only has one top roller centered in the track, figure it is kinda important before I start working the Dozer, will post up pics of This one, was my FIL'S so it could be a mutt, he did lots with little but was damn good Mechanic/welder/operator in any order
