Fuel/hydraulic tanks/injector lines

Have some type of leak from the fuel tank, considering replacing it if can find one...is this seperate from the hydraulic tank?

Injector lines seem to be leaking, cover top of block with fuel. Want to replace them, anyone know if they are available new?

Fixing this up and probably sell it...

Good questions, but likely you won't get much for meaningful answers since people will have to guess at what machine you are asking about. Good luck

I did put 743 bobcat in the subject line...does that not show up?

So, for all, it is a 743 Bobcat....

743 Bobcat does not show in the title. I believe the number of character spaces for the post title is limited due to some problems between Classic and Modern views, your title may have been too long and part of it was deleted. Also characters like / have caused problems at times.

What engine? You may need a parts book to get proper names and part numbers to search for. I expect you can find or make fuel lines depending on which ones you need. It might be just the excess fuel return lines if it is a diesel. Saying what is leaking without seeing it is just a guess. Post a photo or two and point out the leak if you can, that might help. Have you washed the top of the motor off so you can better pinpoint the source of the leak?

I think it has two separate tanks for fuel and hydraulic fluid. The parts book should tell you if it has a fuel tank and a separate Hydraulic tank or a combination tank.

I have the Bobcat part numbers....665219, 665220, 665221 and 665222.

These are the metal lines going from the injector pump to the injectors. We've already replaced the rubber return lines which were dry and cracked.

Bobcat parts no longer lists these numbers...so may end up going to a hydraulic shop and having them fabricated.

Is it a straight 743? What is your machine's serial number? What engine? I just looked at four of the online 743 Bobcat parts books and find different numbers for the lines, but that maybe because your machine or engine is not the same is different.

Have you talked to a dealer? With changes at Bobcat the last few years there may be some number changes if you are looking at a hard copy catalog. It may be worthwhile to talk to someone if you haven't.

I have had injection lines made, but they were made by an injection repair shop, not a hydraulic shop.

Not knowing what you have checked out already, these are just some thoughts offered.

Any of those I seen had a Kubota engine but they could have any make, injector lines leaking is an unusual complaint, are the anti vibration brackets missing, are they cross threaded in other words why are they leaking, the fitting of the line to the injector is compression and will not leak for no reason, is the engine misfiring,I think you should have a mechanic look at your leak, those injector are expensive and may not fix the issue.
