JD 510B TLB

We have a customers John Deere 510B TLB that came into our shop with a slipping direction reverser.I put gauges on the pressure port[line pressure]lube port, and forward clutch pressure port. The line pressure was low at 145,which I shimmed to 165.In neutral the lube pressure is 10psi.When I shift into forward, the line, lube, and clutch pressure all go to 50psi.I found the same thing when I switched to the the reverse brake port. The service manual does not give me any help on why the lube pressure rises to the line and element pressures.Upon disassembly,I found the brake and clutch discs within .001 of new spec, but the piston packing o-rings were bad enough to drop line pressure do to blowby.that all makes sense of low line pressure, but not high lube pressure.Does anybody have a clue why that is occuring?

I'm thinking a pressure port and lube oil port are leaking across each other thru bad sealing rings somewhere. Also , I found on the 410-b and c they used a ridiculously small filter. Does 510-b use the same arrangement ? With a partially clogged filter they just don't act right.. My 2 cents..

Thank you Roy,it does have a small filter, which is in good condition. The sealings rings on the shaft are good, but on the clutch and brake pistons they are not, however,I can not see a path from them to the lube lines that would pressurize the lube circiut.
