Never have had trouble starting this machine and hopped on it today and it just makes a clicking sound. Charged the battery to full and same thing. Any ideas on what to check? I am weak on electrical troubleshooting and looking for any input. Thanks ahead of time

i chased the same issue for a few weeks. turned out to be a bad wire at factory harness plug under the floor near throttle pedal. if i remember it was a # 10 wire that had about 2 strands of the wire left that weren't burnt off. i wired around the factory connector. real PIA to get to. i think enough amperage passed through the wire to make relay click but not enough to support the starter if that makes sense. good luck

seen a wiring, bad safety start switches lots of times,, you can test if its a starter issues by CAREFULLY with machine in "N" in both 4 speed and shuttle by jumping the starter with jumper wire from the POS terminal to the start lug

I had a similar problem with my Farmall M, I cleaned the contacts on the solenoid and it has been trouble free ever since.

Probably the solenoid, we have a 580 at work that does the same thing intermittently.

Restoration Story: 1929 McCormick-Deering 10-20 - by Randal Simmon. On July 4th 1998 my dad and I was sitting on the front porch when he said that he was going to sell his two 10-20's to a junk man. He said that the junk man was going to give him $500 for both of them but he hadn't received the money for them yet. So I went into the house and wrote him a check for $500 and bought them myself and said now they are mine. He had bought them about five years before thinking that he was going to restore them himself. After five years sitting in the barn, he changed h
