my battery is located in the passenger side arm rest. is this the original location?

You guys can test one's memory but I think the battery was under the hood between the instrument panel and the fire wall but can't be sure,I think the early ones were 6V but again not 100%,there were a good few models too what's yours.

Mine is currently 12 volt - but it does look like a conversion was done to it.

Mine has the 6V battery in the passenger arm rest, but it was a partial resto about 10 years before I bought it. The parts manual for the pre-eyebrow 310C and 320 shows it sitting in the engine bay area, based on where it sits on the electrical wiring page. The eye-brow 310's (very late 310C and on) were mounted in the arm rest.

My eyebrow 310 has the battery in the arm rest. Was 12 volt when I got it and I think the starter says 12 volt.
