I have looking at used kubota B21 TLB’s. I use my 320 for digging
ditches , 2-3 feet deep and digging holes for trees. Fruit trees,
evergreen trees
How does a kubota B21 compare to my 320. Some obvious
differences: size, wt, reach with boom on my 320 case TLB

a CASE 320 will Bury a B21 any way shape or form, speed power and ability's,, the B21 is a nice currant offering for sure, but is a basic home owner unit and not a industrial built unit like the 320 was in its day,,

Case Nutty,
Thanks for your evaluation regarding comparison of a B21 to a case 320

My 1957 Case 320 TLB is still working. Doing things around the farm
A very fine older piec of equipment. Case Nutty is only person on the forum I know who has much knowledge on the 320

two versions of the 320,, a 320 and a 320B only change between the two was tin work hence the added "B" as there was a redesign on looks after the 1957 production year ended but they used up round nose tin work on the 320 and made it through 1958 but was not made in AG tractor form after 1957, production is as follows, by the way there are a good number still running today

320 production
1957- 1506
1958- 899

320B production
1958- 1
1959- 50
in 1960 the 320B became a 430 utility which soon became a 430CK (Construction King),
a little more info the 320/320B/420B was sold through CASE CE (construction) dealers only and was painted federal yellow and had a self leveling loader,, they also built the 310/310B with out the self-leveling loader for AG dealers to sell and they were Desert Sunset and Flambeau just like the AG tractors were painted production on them as follows

310 production
1957- 633
1958-200
above are TLB units "tractor/loader/backhoe"

310B-FL production (front end loader only)
1959- 275
the 310 was the first TLB to be made 100% by a single manufacturer and put CASE in the #1 spot on sales/production capabilities, and resale value which they still hold to this day

Not to derail this thread but I have a 210b that came from the factory with the loader. I found a hoe that looks real similar to one in this picture and put on it years ago. I guess not as many 210b tractors were made. Mine has dual range shuttle but it is has no power steering. I sure wish it did. I rebuilt the motor years ago using a kit a 148 motor. I think this 210b originally had a 126 motor.

From 1971 through 1992,, they are a specialized market machine,, we sold up to the 680 models and always sold a handful of them a year where sold sold hundreds of 580 units every year low sales numbers caused both to be dropped about the same time as excavator sizes offered took over the sale of the large TLB's.. a 680 of comparable age with flat out bury the 580 units made along with it, the 780's add about 25% all around capacity over a 680 ,,

Way more 210B's made than 211B's the ag version with adjustable axles,, there are still a good amount of them running today,, yes the 200B Series had a 126 cube engine,,
