So i got the injector pump in my 580K, thank you AJ and Diesel for the help.
Running great!
Got to digging and lost hydraulics, shut 'er off and lifted the hood, OMG what a mess, I assume the pressure hose from the pump let loose. leak appears to be just behind and below the fan shroud, it dumped the whole hydraulic tank in a matter of seconds on the engine.
I plan to lift the boom, bucket and outriggers remotely and unhook the crankshaft coupler and drive it 200' to the barn, and Give it a hot water bath

AJ or Diesel, if it is the pressure line is it a job, remove hard nose and radiator?
where does the line go to?
Hope it's not the pump ;>]
TIA
AE

Below the radiator grille is a plate covering the main hydraulic pump, remove the plate to gain access to the hydraulic pump, there is no need to move anything else, the high pressure hose goes from the hyd pump to a tee, that tee carries the pressure testing quick break coupling and the other side is a steel tube going to the loader control valve, before you disconnect anything you have to establish what is leaking,it can be the hose from the pump, the quick break coupling, the steel tube or the pump,if you are lifting the bucket up out of the way make sure you put in the safety bar and the bucket is empty.

Thanks for the reply AJ, Rodger on the safety bar.

Been busy with SWMBO's garage sale, will look at it tomorrow.
Bucket is down no way to raise it.

Go in behind the left front wheel, the flexible hose from the pump is not very long bout 18 or 20 inches it is the most likely thing to be leaking esp if it happened suddenly but?, you will be able to change the hose with the bucket down.
