Case 450 update

Took parts machine torque converter out. It had a bolt in gear numbers looked good on name plate manual shows only one flywheel.put it in it works.now I can use a bolt in or a slip in ring but I got to find one I cant be leave my 450 is to old to fix any ideas

Who made the torque,I came across the fibre ring gear in some Clark torques there are a few on ebay,I would consider a plastic type material if you had a pattern and could not get the fibre one,or if you could get hold of the specs and a friendly machine shop with a water jet to cut one out for you,I would even consider using metal before scrapping the machine.

Twin discs made the converter getting a used one mon guy is trying to get manufactured company to make them
twin disc don’t make anymore there upgradeing to a flex disc I’ll have to do research I’m not giving up and yes they
use that converter in forklifts but numbers are different

Well at least you will get mobile again, sometime a business that is dealing with marine stuff helped be out with Twin Disc stuff that was decades old,but now no one serving wants to look anything up that is not on the computer.
Good luck
