Is there any way to cross over the bearing part numbers from my IH 500e to timken numbers?

You can search on line for the the SKF and National bearing sites as well, they both have interchange functions on them.

Ya the good old days when every high street had a bearing shop and when you wanted a bearing there was no better way than bring the oil one to the shop and they would match it for you,now one can get nothing except going through the dealer and you get we will have to back order it for you and it will cost twice as much and wait a week,a good bearing shop would have a good stock of bearings bushings belts pulleys chains sprockets U/J's every thing to do with drive line,now all we can get is we will back order it and that is supposed to be progress.

Do you have it apart with old bearings in hand or are you trying to cross the numbers from the parts book?
