JD 690 Elc Lost high speed travel

hey all. Hoping you can help me diagnose travel speed problem. started intermittently, but would lose high speed from time to time. However, if you held the foot pedals in JUST the righ position, it would go back in high speed as long as you could hold it perfectly in that position. As soon as you lose that position even a fraction, back to slow speed. any ideas? Its finally now always in slow speed regardless

I wonder if the rubber sealing rings are leaking inside the rotary manifold ? I've never heard of the touchie
feelie problem with the travel controls.. unless a sealing ring floats around and seals enough to make for high
speed. Anyone else have a theory ?
