CAT D4D Engine Seized

I went to start my D4D after it has been sitting for about two years.
The solenoid "bangs in" very solidly but the engine will not turn.
One brand new battery and the other one checks out very good.
Both are fully charged.
When I hit the start button, there is a tremendous current draw as shown by the ammeter which I take means the starter is fully engaging but unable to turn the flywheel.
The starter turns very fast when I connect the two main terminals on the solenoid together effectively bypassing the solenoid.
I would like to get some ATF and diesel fuel into the cylinders.
Would removing the glow plugs and injecting the mixture there be a good way of doing this?
Thanks for any advice.

BTW, I am assuming any rust may have come from condensation as the exhaust pipe has been covered for the entire time.
I'm hoping any damage to the cylinders and rings may be minimal.
Thanks again for any advice.

either those plugs or the injectors!

Give any concoction you get in there as much time as you can to work its voodoo, then you might try removing the starter and prying on the flywheel ring gear
with a chisel-pointed bar to see if you can turn it- you'll have some good leverage there if you have enough room to get at it.

Thanks for the response Warbaby........I considered the injectors but it seemed the glowplugs might be a lot easier.
I figured I would try the prying on the flywheel ring gear trick.
Fortunately, I do have some time so I don't have to rush this.

once its a little free you should turn it 360* by hand/prying--that way if there is a bad area the starter could crack a bound up ring or bend the connecting rod

Check the air intake, often the air cleaner gets chewed up by rodents for bedding and gets into the cylinders, check the oil for water,if for any reason water got on top of a piston it can have hydraulic lock, taking the starter off is a good idea as you can try to turn the engine the opposite direction,is this a power shift or direct drive machine?.

Thanks for your response, AJ.

I pulled the glow plugs and injected about a half cup of a mixture of diesel fuel and "Marvel Mystery Oil" in each cylinder.
I'll let it set for a while now.
I will check the air cleaner 'cause the mice have built nests all over the machine and have pretty much destroyed the foam seatback in search of building material. God only knows where else they've been.
It doesn't seem likely that nest material would get as far as a cylinder unless the engine had actually turned over and "sucked" it in. However, I think it would be a great idea to check that out BEFORE I get to the point of turning the engine over. Thank you for that great tip!
The first thing I am going to do is put a socket on the front crankshaft bolt in an attempt to turn the engine. Even with the glow plugs removed and no compression, I may not be able to get enough leverage so I may very well be pulling the starter to pry on the ring gear.
I wondered why you asked whether it was a "Power Shift" or direct drive..........it is a "Power Shift" tractor.
Maybe a power shift tractor can't be tow started because of the Torque converter?
Even if it can be towed , the biggest thing I have to tow it with is an Allis D-17 which might work as the dozer is on a very slight downgrade.
Thanks again for a great response!

Why I asked if it was direct drive or P/S was the possibility of rocking it if it was direct drive,ie rock it back and forth in gear in the hope of breaking it free, being a P/S you won't be able to try that, see how yo get on with the starter off and turning the flywheel to and fro, make sure all the control levers are in neutral and not putting a load on the hydraulics,if it's got a winch check it's out of gear.

I came by these posts and thought I’d pass it on. Can never
have to many connections.
